2. Are you a football fan and if so who is your favorite team?
I'm not a football fan at all.. I don't really get the game and everytime I watch it it has to be reexplained to me.  But if I had to pick a team.. I would go with the Jets as I am a Jersey girl!

3. What is your favorite fall scent?
Pumpkin

4. Do you have seasonal allergies?
I have them ALL.. you kname it .. I own it and suffer from it.. technically I am allergic to myself and all of my surroundings!.. I kinda need a bubble

5. Have you started Christmas shopping yet?
Nope.. not a single item.. I do ALL of my shopping on Black Friday at 3am with my Mommy.. it's a family tradition.

I am still alive and crafting... kinda

For those of you who have hung in there with me these past few weeks..
THAnk you, THANK you, THANK YOU!
I have been suffering from a lot of personal stress and a slight depression.  I have been feeling uninspired and have been making mistakes in every aspect of my daily life.
Unfortunately, that includes my professional life.  I accidentally missed sending out a banner for a baby shower and missed the event completely.  Uggh! (Never happened before) How embarassing for me and I felt like a complete failure.
Fortunately, my customer was gracious enough to accept my apology and the reason for the incident and accept an item of apology from my shop.
So here is the item of apology.
A handmade personalized baby clothesline shadow box picture frame.
Yup, that was a mouthful.
And here is how it looks with a picture.
Here's to hoping that this helps and that I feel more like myself in the coming weeks.
Again thanks to you, who have stopped by, featured me, added comments or linked up to my party.
Happy thoughts are in the air!
p.s.  This was a totally stashbusted project.. just in case you thought I forgot!
Love,

9/11

September 11, 2001 was a day that will remain forever inscribed on the hearts and minds of all of us Americans.  It was a day in which our world was changed immeasurably.  All of us can remember exactly where we were when we first discovered that our beloved country had been attacked.
I was 22 and a student in the nursing program at Felician college in NJ.  That morning I had been getting ready for school when my boyfriend at the time,(now my husband) called me from work and told me to turn on the news.. a plane had just flown into the World Trade Center.   I watched speechless, wondering what had just happened.. was it an accident?  and then the second plane hit and the world had changed.  The days following this horrendous event were marked by sadness, fear and silence as the skies were devoid of planes.
My heart goes out to the families who have lost so much, to the men and women who sacrifieced their lives to save others and to those who survived it all and live with the memories.
We will NEVER forget.

Ballard Inspired Painting #2

My Mommy's Big birthday is tomorrow.. and for her birthday she requested a painting.  So here is my inspiration.
Fell in Love with a Dress Print
Now obviously I am NOT going to be able to recreate this perfectly but I did my best and I gave it my own twist.
So here is the finished product!
I of course started with a 16" x 20" canvas.
I covered the whole canvas with book pages.
Then I painted the background.
The I added the dress and the words in script as I felt it was a very romantic piece.
Of course I then added a bow and a single diamond necklace.
Hope my Mommy loves it!
