Book Page Fireworks!

I have seen book pages made into lots of things but I was thinking that for fourth of July there couldn't be anything better than book page fireworks!
So here are mine and of course a quick tutorial so you can make your own!
Ingredients
Book pages
utility knife
glue
paint
Scrapbook paper

Start by cutting out the shape of your firework on the interior of the book.  Cut away all of the excess while leaving the binding intact.
When your shape is cut glue the edges together so that they make a cylinder.

It should look like this when the glue is dry.
Then add a thin piece of rope to make the wick.
Then paint the outside edges the desired color.

Next add yor scrapbook embellishements.

Then display them with pride!

  4. These are C-U-T-E! They reminded me of some Halloween decorations that my grandmother had made out of newspaper. They are probably still up in her attic! Thanks for the memory and for sharing this great project!
