Dashing through the Snow

with my very own personalized door sled!

Ingredients

Wood sled

acrylic paint

wood letters

glitter

felt

stuffing

thread

sewing machine

rope

ribbon

yarn

Start by drawing a template for your skates.
Cut out your template and lay it out on your felt.

Then pin it and cut out two blades and four skates.

Once pieces are cut, pin it together and sew.

Next take your finished skates and 

stuff them.

Once stuffed sew the top shut.  

Then embellish them with binding to look like laces, 

add pom poms and buttons.

Then paint your sled.

Paint and glitter your name.

Last glue your letters to the top of the sled and hot glue your ribbon and skates onto the bottom.

Find a great place to hang it and show off your fancy skates and sled!
