Vintage Style Baseball Themed Name Sign

Continuing with my theme of Upcycling this month I grabbed THIS old plaque

 and gave it a facelift to add to my boys' new BASEBALL themed bedroom!

Here is the finished Vintage Style Baseball Themed Name Sign!

Ingredients

Sheperds Sign

Paint

Wood Letters

Mod Podge

Scrapbook Paper 

Craft Glue 

Sand Paper

I started with the old sign

 which I then painted blue.

Once the paint was dry I hit it with a little sand paper to give it that distressed look that I adore.

Then I grabbed my Wood letters and arranged them on the board and cut out my inspirational baseball words and ball player. 

Then I grabbed my Mod Podged and made 'em stick.

Next I painted my letters brown, 

then red and off white. 

Now we are die hard Yankees fans in this house so NO baseball sign would be complete without a little PIN striping and a little dirt!

Last I added some little touches to the name itself with a little help from Mod Podge,

and this sweet hand painted baseball. 

And D-O-N-E ... DONE! 

PLAY BALL!
