Waterless Photo Snow Globe

Michaels had this great waterless snow globe on their site and while I was there yesterday I tried to pick up some of the snowglobes.. but wah wah wahhhhh.. they were of course sold out!
But it did get my little brain a thinking that I could probably make my own.. so here is what I came up with!
It all started with this little old olive jar that I was saving for some unknown project.
So if you want to make your own .. here is your tutorial!
Materials
Clear jar
plastic beads
wood
pictures
glue
paint
snowflakes
glitter ribbon
scrapbook paper
styrofoam ball
I started by cutting my ball in half so that it had a flat surface and cut a slice in the middle so that it would hold the wood piece.
Then I glued a piece of scrapbook paper to the bottom of my jar lid.
Next I painted the ouside edges of my wood.
Then I glued scrapbook paper and my picutre on the wood.
And of course I glittered all around the picture.
Then I added some snowflake embellishments.
Oh and did I mention that I made it double sided?
I filled the jar with the crystal beads and somemore snowflakes and then I placed the lid on top.
Flip and enjoy!
And then turn it around.. and enjoy it some more!
This was a great project,.. easy, fun and of course it was made with stuff I already had.. so technically FREE!
And p.s. I like mine better than the Michaels' version .. 'cause it's BIGGER!

10 Minute Jack O Lantern Wreath

I was cleaning out some of craft room mess yesterday and I came across a couple of old craft items.  One was a wood pumpkin
and the other was an old frame.
I thought they would be super cute together..
so I dug out some Halloween scrapbook paper and got to work.
I started by painting the outside of the pumpkin cutouts in yellow, orange and green.
Then I glued on some orange paper.  Once it was glued on the outside I added a quick hilight of orange paint.
Next I glued on my pumpkin stem.
Then I glued my spider paper into the frame with the ribbon underneath so that it would be attached.
Next I glued in some wood blocks to support the pumpkin.
Ta-Da!  10 minute jack o' lantern wreath from stuff lying around the house!
Whoo hoo!
Also.. for those of you who have signed up to be entered in my giveaway.. I will announce the winner on Tuesday.. if you haven't signed up.. you have more time.. so go HERE

Since I am not going to be crafting for the next few days.. I figured that I would reshare some of my Fall projects from last year!
Hope you enjoy them!
First up is my Fall wreath that I made after a frantic search for any of of my 75 glue guns!
Then there were my fall centerpieces.

And of course my pumpkin bucket display!
Hope y'all are enjoying your fall!
And of course all of these projects were Stashbusted!
