Witchy Shoes

They say "If the Shoe fits.. Wear it!"

and I for one would totally rock these funky boots if I was a witch!
Want to make a set of these fun and funky witch shoes?  Here's how!
Ingredients
Witch shoes
Wood Block
Scrapbook paper
Paint
Mod Podge
Chipboard letters
Hot glue gun
Start by painting your shoes black or some other witchtastic shade.
While your paint is drying you can get started on your block.
Cut your scrapbook paper to size and Mod Podge it.
Once dry paint the edges black.
Then add a cute vintage witch to the side.
Now it's time to make those witchy boots funky
with Mod Podge and lots of scrapbook paper in different patterns and colors.
Then EVERY good witch needs a little glam.. so I made these fun flowers!
You can create them by tracing a circle,
cutting it out and then rolling it into a flower.
Now add your flower to your boots.
Hot glue your letters to your handy dandy block.
Glue it all together...
And stand back and
Admire your handy work!
p.s. I made this sign last year with the same witchy shoe.. but totally different!

Hey Pink Hippo Followers!  After a 3 month hiatus I've decided to bring blogging back to Pinkapotamus!
Hi!

This is my spooky skeleton in a jar.. and he's soo easy to create.  Want to try?
Ingredients
Empty jar
Halloween Scrapbook paper
Mod Podge
Paper Skeleton
Tulle
Ribbon
Key
Start by putting your skeleton in the jar with some tulle behind him.  Makes him look spooky and the jar has a smoky effect.
Add the key around the cork.
Next add some Mod Podge to your Scrapbook paper
and glue it to your jar.
Then of course, he just had to have a few friends.... like these lovely bug specimens
and some skeletons.
Then I put them together to create a Halloween centerpiece.
Happy Haunting!

Firecracker Tutu Dress

This was soo easy and it looks soo cute!
Ingredients
Tulle
Fabric
Crochet headband
Ribbon
Rotary Cutter
I started by cutting my two types of 4th of July fabric into 1" strips.
Then I folded each strip into
the 2nd hole of the headband, pulled the bottom through the loop
and tied it in a knot.
I repeated this process all the way around the bottom.
Then I cut my blue tulle and put it into the holes of the third row on the headband.
Then the white into the fourth row.
Then finally the red.
Next I made a big fabric flower on a clip for the front.
And added adjustable ribbon ties to the top.
Viola!
Last I grabbed my sweet model
 and snapped some pics!
I think she likes it and
she looks A-dorable in it!
Perfect for the 4th of July~
