Leaf Art with the Mini Hippos!

It's becoming a Sunday tradition that we BUST out the craft supplies and get our Craft On!
Today's project was Leaf art for the mantel!
Ingredients
Blank canvas
Leaf
Paint
Mod Podge
Glitter
Leaf Punch (optional)
We started with small blank canvases which we traced our leaf onto.
Then we painted around the leaf.
Then we each added our own special touches..
My big guy painted his red,
then glittered the WHOLE thing with clear and orange glitter.
My little guy wanted to paint his background green,
then the leaf orange and glitter the WHOLE thing with a combo of orange and white glitter.
Then I painted mine, then Mod Podged it with punched leaves,
then I glittered just the leaf in bright orange,
and last I copied my little guy and glittered the WHOLE thing!
Hope you try this fun project with your little guys!

Upcycled HaLLOwEeN Tray

Yes.. I know... Halloween is just a few days away.. I SHOULD be done creating items.. but I just can't help it... it's fun!
I found this sweet tray
in a recycle store and just couldn't help but snatch it up for a whopping...
So I started to make it creepy with paint, Decoupage papers and Antique Mod Podge
I painted my tray black.
Then started Mod Podging my Skeleton.. cause the head bones connected to the
rib bones.. and the rib bones connected to the
arm bones... and the arm bones connected to the hand bones..
and the hand bones connected to the POISON!.. oops..
and the jar of mice!.. Yikes
And of course he is.. all reconstructed!
Fun, CreEpY and Easy.. three of my favorite things!
I am sharing with these fun parties!

Roadside Rescue: Sit a Spell Chair

I have been wanting to make one of these for awhile!

I made it from this old chair that the hubby grabbed for me as a roadside rescue!

I started by scuffing it up with a sanding square (with a little help from my puppy)

Next I gave it a coat of crackle finish.

Once it was dry I added my vinyl pieces.

Then I painted it all up with orange

Gray

And black.

Then I peeled off my vinyl,

And then I wrapped it in webbing and set it up outside....

So what do you say?  Want to sit a spell?
