DIY Chiffon Flower and Lace Headband

I made this
Pin It
to match this
And you can make one too!
Ingredients
Pick Your Plum Non slip Elastic
Lace
Felt
Beads
Thread
Hot glue
Start by sewing your elastic into a circle.
Next pin your flowers onto your lace in a circle
and sew.
Then hand sew your beads into the center of your flowers.
Using your seam as the top, hot glue your flowers onto the elastic.
Then hot glue your felt onto the elastic to hold it all together.
Then wear and enjoy!
This is on my little cutie, while she still had a little bed head.  She's too cute!
Oh and here is me wearing my new scarf cause I just love it sooo much!
And of course the two together!

DIY Chiffon Lace Scarf

I just love getting Goodies in the mail!
So when this fun package from Wholeport arrived you can imagine my excitement!
Now the BIG question was what was I going to make with all this fun stuff?
First I made this Scarf with the gorgeous flower ruffle I got.
And this adorable ruffle flower headband to match.
I am also working on an embroidered "Bloom Where You are planted" wall hanging!
If you are as in love with the Ruffled Rosette Scarf as I am.. here's your Tutorial!
Ingredients
Fabric
Lace
Pearl Beads
Sewing Machine

I started with a big piece of fabric
which I cut into a long strip measuring 44" long x 6" wide
Then I ironed the edges in to make a rolled edge.
Next I sewed the edges
and made the base for the scarf.
Then I placed my chiffon lace in the middle,
pinned it down,
and sewed it into place.
I left a few inches at the end to finish the edges with some lace.
So I ruffled my lace.
Then pinned it to the bottom
and sewed it on.
Last I hand sewed two of the flowers onto the bottom and added a pearl bead to the center.
Viola, my very First handmade scarf!

Pink Hippo Parade of Cows!

I saw these guys hanging around Michaels in the clearance aisle for a whopping $.89 and I just couldn't resist.
So me and the mini hippos made our very own Parade of Cows!
The hippos were soo excited and did a great job!
And of course
they are all soo different.
I made mine with  fabric Mod Podge
and fabric nesting dolls.
And of course she had to have a sweet face to match her dolls.
Hope you find some time to make something fun if your kids are off this week!
We had a great time making our Parade of Cows!
Love,
